I've been wanting to paint SO bad for the last few days. It was an itch, a craving. But no, I did not paint. I did everything else! Ink, gel, paper, color pencil, charcoal (my fav!), & marker. I just needed to create something. Get my hands dirty sitting with a chaos of paper, paints, scissors, pens, pencils, art mess stuff. I feel much better now!

ReplyDeleteI hate getting messy when I'm drawing/painting, though it can't be avoided on all occaiosns. I love the look of smudged pencil in a drawing, but I would always try and do it with a Q-tip wherever possible (not always poissible!)

i don't know what it's called but they are special paper pencil shaped things that are made just for smudging charcoal. which is what is what i use but with charcoal it's hard not to make a bit of a mess of yourself sometimes.
